I entered into a contest for the "OC Foodie Fest" event this Saturday and just found out that I won!!

I just heard via e-mail that my song that I wrote will be on the Everyday Noise page and possibly the OC Foodie Fest page.


Here's the song that I wrote:

The event begins at 11:30 A.M. and make sure (oopsey, I forgot to write this word) you're not late!

Rob Dyrdek's Street League

I'm going to attend one of these events when the Street League hits the California stop on September 11th in Ontario, CA. Rob Dyrdek's an enterprising guy....and was a consultant to the Maloof Bros. for the inaugural Maloof Money Cup.

Beach Volleyball champion Misty May-Treanor and partner Kerri Walsh captured their second Olympic Gold Medal at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and became the first team ever to repeat as back-to-back champs. Upon her return from the Beijing Games, Misty gladly accepted a role on ABC’s hit-show Dancing with the Stars. Misty was one of the rising talents of Dancing with the Stars until an Achilles injury derailed her shot at the trophy. After undergoing successful surgery, Misty is now back on the sand. She is competing in the 2010 AVP Opens with partner Nicole Branagh, the 2009 AVP MVP. - www.mistymay.com

AVP-=done for 2010

I'm feeling a bit low at the moment since the Association of Volleyball Professionals (A.V.P.) Tour is done for this season. There were supposed to be five events left in the season. But, due to financial difficulties, the A.V.P Tour closed out the season.

Now, the focus is on the 2011 season. I want to be optimistic and say things will get better.
